Jake Strom

Jake began volunteering with KEEN Chicago in 2009 and joined the Board of Directors in 2014 where he served for a decade as a passionate advocate for our Athletes and their families. Jake is currently the part-time Development and Operations Manager at KEEN Chicago, where he plays a key role in supporting the development of strategic initiatives to enhance KEEN’s programs and overseeing the organization’s operational processes. He works closely with the board, staff, volunteers, and community partners to ensure the smooth functioning and growth of the organization.

In addition to his work with KEEN, Jake has also contributed to the community through volunteering with My Block, My Hood, My City, Jet City, and the Chicago Food Depository. These experiences reflect his commitment to giving back and fostering connections within the community. Born and raised in Iowa, he earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Iowa and has called Chicago home for the last 18+ years.
